Neat 30" 1950s Roper Gas Range in NJ

The seller is listing this for the last time, or it goes to the trash. $200 <span style="text-decoration: underline;">OBO</span>. Good looking Mid-Century styled stove. Hopefully someone can save it. I think they would take a much lower offer.

Beautiful stove and exact size but much as I would like it is too far and probably all pilot lights to waste gas. Cant tell if it has the center simmer burners that I love.

Love that clock!  There are two push switches on the left end of the clock bezel.  With the oven window there must be a light in the oven and there must be a fluorescent lamp behind that horizontal "bar" to the right of the clock.

 

Overall, nice appearance.

Pilots!

Give me a pilot light ANYDAY over that miserable pop pop pop mess, and an oven that wont work in a power failure!!!Also, a oven with a pilot is exactly the right temperature to use for a proofing cabinet for yeast bread.

I thought I was the only one annoyed at the "pop-pop-pop"! Give me "whooosh" any day.

My Whirlpool does have electronic ignition and the oven can be manually lit if the power goes out. Granted, it is no good for proofing bread or rolls. Since switching from pilot lights to electronic ignition, my gas useage has dropped by almost 1/3.
