So a few months ago I bought a Craftsman blowtorch probably from 50-60 years ago and I tried to restore it, but the part that you unscrew to put the fuel I've never been able to get off. Here's some pictures, any ideas? The first pictures is before the tank was cleaned up, then cleaned tank, then using a wire brush on the brass torch head. The button looking thing is the pump up handle that is rusted in place. Any ideas for removing it? I've been putting penetrating oil on it for a long time now.

Any  chance it is not "righty tighty"?   I wonder if it might be threaded opposite to make the pump/lock intuitive?-A

No,

It is a craftsman brand and to pump it up, you push the handle up and down to pump it up, so if think it would be left to loosen it. Thanks but any ideas on removing it?
