Hi there - I'm trying very hard to identify a clothes washing machine or clothes dryer based only on the door as that's all I have photos of. It has a portal and could have been made any time prior to the 1980's... The door and porthole is not very large, maybe the door is only about 2 feet tall or less. It's the exact machine the door came off that I'm looking for. Any help appreciated! Reward to the one who correctly identifies the exact machine for me!

photos attached, but ignore the red light, this door was used to make a movie prop.

My email is [email protected]

As the owner of one, I'd have to say it's from a Lady Kenmore washer / dryer combo.

OK, what's our reward?   Haha.

(Darn!   Dan beat me to it!)

Holy crap. That is amazing. Thank you! I can't believe you guys nailed it that fast! Well, how about $30 each? Send me your paypals and I'll shoot you over $30 each. [email protected]

Second question - where can I find one or two (or more) of them? I need them to be white like the images I posted... and I only need the door(s).

Just the doors?   Umm... good luck with that.  Anyone who has the machine is not going to want to part it out, especially if it's functional or going to be restored.

What are you going to use them for, a photo shoot or another movie prop?

If I could get one door, I could replicate it. I didn't realize how rare it was... hopefully one will turn up.

If anyone has any leads, it will be much appreciated.

The goal is to replicate the original movie prop, which used two of these doors. But like I said, just one door... any color, and I'll just make more.

Thanks for your help!

You guys are correct - the Explorers Spaceship is what I'm recreating. It's a little more complicated than just getting a tilt-a-whirl, washing machine doors and a garbage can... :) But it will be far less complicated than the last movie prop I replicated (The Delorean Time Machine).

Anyway, yes - if I had a door that I could borrow for a few weeks, I could have it replicated and returned without any harm to the original. I replicated many incredibly rare aerospace parts for the Time Machine, and I will treat any door anyone is willing to loan me with the same care and obviously pay for shipping both ways and insurance.

I gotta tell you, this seems like a very friendly group! I've had a few very generous offers! I still owe two of you $30, please email me your paypal.
