Hello all - I recently picked up an Amana Deepfreeze chest freezer from my grandma a few weeks ago. I'm trying to figure out the model number and year it was made to see if there's any way I can get any parts (I'm assuming it's a late 50s early 60s model). It still runs great but the gasket is pretty worn. Any help is appreciated!

I doubt you'll ever find a part number for the gasket, but there's a site that has just about every type of gasket ever used, so if you can take a closer look at yours, you can probably find a profile match for it.  Click on the link below and pull up "gaskets by profile."

Neat freezer

You are unlikely to find ANY parts for this freezer, the good news is you are unlikely to need any.

Things like compressor relays, new cord or even a thermostat can be found using generic parts if any of these are ever needed.

As a Technician with 45+ years of experience repairing major appliances I would not even consider trying to replace the lid seal unless it is absolutely necessary and you can find the exact gasket and it is in excellent plyable condition.

A lid gasket is not very critical on a chest freezer, if it has any slight gaps use some foam self-adhesive weather strips.

Trying to actually replace the gasket is often the death of a freezer like this.
