I am sort of confused with Whirlpool's dishwasher evolution. I've heard the terms PowerClean and Point Voyager (what does that even mean?) thrown around.
What came before those models? I had a BOL Roper in my college apartment that I really liked. It had a wash tower and the rectangular drain in the rear of the dishwasher. It was new in 2005 but the design was very similar to Whirlpool's 1980s models. What about my 2015 Whirlpool dishwasher, what are those called?
What's your opinion on the current Whiplool dishwasher design with the plastic-looking motors? I remember how I almost passed out in shock when I unboxed my Whirlpool and saw the "plastic" motor. I decided to give it a chance and it has done well so far. I'm just wondering if the motor will live a shorter life.
