Re: Need more help:

Hey! compwiz, what brand of Washer do you have? It might depend on the Brand/Model as to what is wrong with the Washer. When you mention about the Motor Overload, being possible of causing the problem, it makes me think that you have possibly a Frigidaire, even thought almost any Brand/Model can have the same thing wrong, as far as a Motor Overload. I know if you can let us know, one or more of us can certainly no doubt help you with what's wrong and get it operating smoothly again.

I've been thinking....

Compwhiz, I don't want you to think I am ignoring you. I just had to think about this a while first. A common thing on the DD machines is for the lid switch to get "touchy".
They are very easily replaced or just wire the switch out of the circuit.

The lid switch is something I would check out in this case....

Hope this helps!

X-( Sorry i keep forgeting to be more specific

Apperently its a whirlpool dd model lsr7233bw2.

Ill check the lidswitch

Re: Need more help, clarify my writing:

I realized later on, when I was reading the other Thread Posting, that I had mis-read the info from compwiz, mentioning about a Thermal Overload, I was thinking that it said Motor Overload for whatever reason. I hope that you get it figured out about what's wrong with your Machine and get it operating all right again, "Good Luck" with the Repair.

Peace, Happiness and Happy New Year, Steve
