Makes sense. Though I personally would have done a long spin spray with maybe a pulsed spin at the beginning.

I wish there were more of these from back in the day, but I am not complaining as LG and Samsung have some nice versions.

I still have one of these, a WWp1150vajwh, hooked it up in the new house. I don't use it often because the spin bearing is going and it makes a LOT of rumble when spinning. I wish I had a service manual for it!
