this gets me...at these prices, and they can't even bother to clean them up.....
and if the top looks this bad, imagine the outtertub, not to mention the dryer....

Neppy = Neptune. Maytag Neptune. The Neptune TL (TopLoader) was the last (far as I understand) "new" mechanical washer design Maytag produced. Lower-end FAV6800 with button panel (per the ad), and higher-end FAV9800 which had a touchpanel same as the MAH7500 Neptune frontloader, water heater and slightly higher maximum spin RPM.
The was the matching dryer shown in the ad, a touch-screen model, and also the Drying Center.

Houston. TOL FAV9800 washer with touch screen and water heating. Rare set, but price probably is high even so. Could be the referenced "sensor" the washer needs is the tub displacement (OOB) sensor. I have a spare (installed, found it wasn't the problem, removed immediately), paid $57.94...
