After changing the cycling thermostat and the thermistor, the flame would come on for about 20 min of the cycle and shut off. Today I changed the high limit thermostat and the gas coils and no flame at all...though the igniter comes on as usual. These have some type of 'on' switch built into the motor to turn the flame or heating coil I have seen....are there any other parts I am missing or is it time to use the clothesline!

Thanks

Not an expert on neptunes (never had one, thank gawd for small favors) but IINM the igniter should be dependent upon the motor switch. IOW the heat cycle begins when the motor switch closes and the igniter energizes. Followed by the infrared sensor closing and energizing the gas valve.

Also, once the dryer is running/heating it would be extraordinary for the motor switch to suddenly fail at the 20-min point. You need more help than I can give you. Just don't replace the motor trying to fix it. At least not yet.

Speaking of infrared sensors........
