Would this be a Filter Flo? Don't see outlet for FF stream so guess not. During the time GE produced the FF did they make models that weren't?

Yes, that is the absolute bottom line model. I had one a small step up that did have the filter flo but no temp or water level switches. I ran a jumper wire across the inlet valve so I could adjust the temp by the faucets. I gave it to one of my tenants in 1984 when I bought these Maytags and last I knew, he was still using the GE, trouble free after all these years.

yah, there is such a thing as Non-Filter-Flo......just two plugs over the pumps ports.....I have seen the pump, but never the actual machine until now....

I always figured these styles were for the Laundromats, but our Laundromats had actual filterflo models, and scattered pans all over....

may be BOL, but seems those with the fewest features(one cycle, one fill, may two temps) seem to last the longest....

Why was the jumper wire necessary? Wouldn't factory setup have been for both valves to open to make for a warm wash where you could have then adjusted temp with the faucet?

What water level did these fill to?

Actually Ken, mine would only fill to the top and there was no way of starting it with a half tub of water. I added the jumper so I could set it where it starts on hot so I would set it once for cold wash and cold rinse.

a bit steep on the price....but for the most part, your starting with a good base, nothing says you can't change the top for more options....

one nice thing with something like this, whether you got BOL or TOL, underneath, it was all built the with same heavy duty parts.....as for major parts, it was rugged...

2 cycles is all you really need, add in 3 temps and water levels.....and you will have a versatile machine for most all of your needs...

Sort of like my time-fill Maytag. When the motor went bad, we installed a two speed motor and put a toggle switch on the rear of the machine so it now gives anything you could want while looking simple, like the owner. With the 50 cycle pulley kit and Power Fin agitator, it is a hell of a washer.

As I mentioned in the thread about the GE dryer with the gray and white all plastic control panel, the matching washer was not a Filter Flo machine either.
