"never used" New Vintage General Electric Potscrubber Dish Washer - $250 (Norwalk, CT)"

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I guess not. Don't look never used either maybe the manual was never used but not that dishwasher. If it really was never used all the rubber is prob junk bye now

people's frame of mind borders on listless to empty if the thought of making it presentable ...for the asking price...never visited their conscience. I thought the same - what condition would the rubber/seals be in after a long sleep?

Unused GE DW

It diffidently looks unused but was stored in less than ideal conditions, I would highly dough that there would be any problems with rubber parts, this machine will take off working if connected.

GE DWs from this time period were not real high quality machines, in daily use they usually would only last about 10 years.

John - TEN YEARS - in today's world of new and bright appliances, that doesn't sound so bad, but amidst the other dishwashers in its age group, ten years isn't a happy number.

I'd have been elated to get ten decent years out of all the tol GE products installed in our last new home...ten years without board replacement, intermittent refrigerator problems (it's now just cycling on and off now, and no longer cooling.... but it lasted a woo-hoo six years. Seeing the old GE stuff here, searching CL, I'm glad to see some of the older GE appliances still gleaming, but surprised they never(?) had a competitively durable dishwasher.

Thanks!
