'80s Kenmore Range Hint:
YOU DON'T WANT ONE. You don't. Trust me.
The reason? The worst cleanability factor of any ranges I've ever seen - anywhere, any time, any brand.
Control panels are badly placed, and they are composed of many parts, with grooves between components and frames around components and little grease-catching embossed areas. There are a lot of cast, chromed pot-metal pieces and they are all waiting to soak up your day off cleaning them.
This fake Jenn-Air is a prime example - look where the controls are placed - just where grease will land when frying. The clock/timer has a nice grease-trapping frame around it. The indicia are screened onto the control panel, so anything that removes grease will also affect the lettering sooner or later, probably sooner.
You Do. Not. Want. One. Below is a photo of the one in the house I had in Marietta, GA, taken on move-out day. That range was the single most hateful piece of cooking equipment I have ever used, bar none. I still resent the loss of all the many,
many hours of my life I spent keeping that piece of crap even halfway presentable.
