New Bosch FL Set

My dad just picked this set up. Can't really complain, although I would've opted for a slightly higher model, but I knew my dad would go for cheap.

Anyone have any experience with these machines? Any good?

Your dad actually didn't do too bad on the washer. But what the **** is that dryer? I know it's a Bosch, but must have been the previous version that didn't allow for stacking because of the controls on the top. And the clor combination? That reallly throws me.

Bosch dryer was picked up REAL CHEAP on clearance, nobody wanted it

O does anyone know what the Eco action button does? How does it change the cycle? Does it just mess with the temps???

And is the allergy rinse just a plain old extra rinse?

Nexxt dryer and Vision 300 washer.
Thanks for the shots. So Bosch has gone back to a true horizontal axis design .... the previous series (Nexxt washers) have a tilted tub

Jed, your dad is quite clever and saved "just" 550 dollars on the washer
Your new machine spins @ 1100 rpm while the TOL model Vision 800 spins @ 1200 rpm.
Lcd screen and other bells and whistles apart, build quality is the same.
IMHO it was no worth to spend 50% more

Jed,a few day ago Alex/Logixx posted a vid of the new axxis in allergy mode. It's a up to 1/3 glass door rinse routine -guess 3 rinses at least-

The Eco option lowers slightly the target temp of the heater for each temp and lengthens the wash phase to make up for it.

All HE washers have an "Allergy rinse" as standard...

It's a rinse available for all cycles, designed to save water and cause allergies. It usually uses half drop of water to rinse a full load. some machines have extra rinse option, so there's a generous full drop of water to rinse.

This is a Euro Bosch.....?? I've never seen this much water in a modern American FL. I'm sure this is not the case for a US machine.

Favorit, I'm talking about american machines (Affinity, LG, Duet, Epic, etc)
I love front loaders, but a decent water level is more than welcome.
