Guy, do you remember the old Hoover factory in Hamilton or was it moved to Burlington by your time. My gran lived in Hamilton back in the 50's and 60's and I always remember seeing it from the bus whenever I was there and we'd go downtown shopping. Dad worked for Westinghouse there prior to my arrival when they moved to Sarnia.

There was also a Studebaker factory but that closed down in the early 60's as well.
