Decided to buy one of these for their simplicity and as a better than nothing backup. When I saw how stylish it was on the outside, how charming it was on the inside, it was love as first sight. Like a mini rendition of a full size refrigerator.

This fridge is nothing more than the basics- a tube wrapping around inside freezer and fridge as the evap coil, a tube wrapping around underneath the exterior wrapper, a liquid drier, a capillary tube, and a single stage compressor. Start PTC, thermostat, door switch and light bulb for the electrical. Nothing else that can go wrong. No evap fan to fail, no condenser to get clogged up with dust, no defrost heater to fail.

Only down side is the 1.09oz for R600 and the none name brand somewhat noisy compressor, but other than that its a good start. I might by a larger version of this, I like it.

And, good news, about 3 hours in and its down to 35*F. Great so far. I hope the fresh food section can maintain a steady temp in between cycles. I've heard a lot of reviews where mini and compact fridge will fluctuate temps to much even with a good thermal load like many cans of soda.

I wish they made a full size version of this fridge.

I love little Fridges like yours and always look at them when I see them in stores. About 5 years ago I saw one this size and it was frost free. It had the fans for both the freezer and fridge. It was 134a. I now wish I would have bought one. What are the directions on defrosting? I noticed the catch pan on top of the compressor. The compressor is made by Wansang. They have been making compressor's for quite some time. China Company. I bet it quiets down when it gets to your set temps. It also looks like it fits a good bit of food. Let us know how it does. Thanks for sharing.
