More like updated, anyone see these in person yet? Looks like they updated some cycles and changed the look a little bit. I believe they modified the drum a little bit to make it bigger.

Current Electrolux Laundry appliances

The 24" washers are built in Italy and seem to have nothing in common with the bigger 27" machines, we sold 26 of the 24" machines last year thanks to a good deal from Eugene from Lorain Furniture in Ohio.

The full sized washers are sort of ok, the full sized dryers are junk, they are very flimsy and troublesome we have seen quite a few people give up on them after a few repairs.

The compact 24" dryers are condenser only and not great, I just picked one up of the scrap pile 2 weeks ago, it was all clogged up and does not heat any longer.

It's the same base design machine, yeah.

I do even think the larger models have the same pump designs.
The only thing that stops them from adding the trap is the cabinet being physically bigger.
They try to reuse as much of the parts as possible, so they just mount it where possible and as a result cant add the access door.

Per the parts manual, the larger washers have a filter right underneath the tub where the drain hose connects. Have seen this ever since the launch of the previous (IQ and Wave Touch) series.
