New England Get-together

Hey there!!!

It's about time, huh? We're looking at firming up a date for a get-together/party in Southborough MA. We'd like to have it this month, but it doesn't look possible since the pool folks can't replace our pool liner until just after July 4th. Then, Brimfield is running July 13-18! That's not to say we wouldn't entertain the thought of getting together with people to go to Brimfield and maybe have a cookout afterwards, but that's more of a destination thing.

So, we're looking at July 24th or 31st for more of a weekend soire. Probably something like all day Saturday then breakfast/brunch Sunday. If you're interested, please let us know so we can make plans!

Hey Scott, and all....

Sorry for taking so long to update the info, but we had a computer crash last week, and I was finally able to get the 6-year-old desktop running as kind of a skeleton system. If anyone emailed and we didn't answer between 4/1 and 6/24, email again because as best I can tell, those emails are gone forever.

Anyway, the par-tay.

Saturday, July 24th, 1pm until......?????? Remember that if you can't be here at 1, be here when you can get here! It'll run until the wee hours as usual! If the weather is pretty-well certain to be horrendous, we'll post here Thursday the 22nd to re-schedule for the following Saturday, July 31st.

Pot luck, bar-b-que-type stuff would be a good suggestion, Scott. I'll make some pulled pork and we'll have the fixin's for Mai Tais and Coco Mocos (like Pina Coladas) at the Tiki bar. If you have your favorite beverage, bring it along, virgin or not (Rob- you-know-what's still here). Our coolers will be pretty well filled, but I think most people have a small cooler they can keep stuff in?

Anyone want to be here the next morning for breakfast? PLEASE let us know so we know how many people to plan food for. If you want to stay here, we do have a twin and a queen-sized blow-up mattress that people can use (speak up if you want one!) and can accommodate a couple more if you have your own. There's also a Motel 6 nearby that Steve gave the Toggle Seal of Approval to.

Don't forget your bathing suit and towel as the pool is still on schedule to be taken care of next week! Hopefully we can get the water to warm up a bit, but it'll be guaranteed to be wet either way! We'll also have some Bocce sets, horseshoes, and Jarts! Remember, it's not a party until someone gets punctured!

Can somebody fix that?

I regret having missed a party at your place in 2006 when I lived in the area. I even remember where you are. It was Xmas, If I remember right. I was sick with the Flu and didn't think it appropriate to get anyone else sick.

I know you all will have a great time. I hope to attend a wash-in soon. After connecting with AW.org 8 years ago, its about time I met the real people behind the fun and smart information.
