Hey Guys: As you know, the New England Wash-In at Chuck & Rich's is a few weeks away. At the last one, we did a Yankee Swap which I think everyone enjoyed. What are your thoughts on doing another one at this wash-in?

Also, I had suggested a "flea market/swap shop" type of activity -- small appliances, appliance "go-withs," etc. etc.

Let me know your thoughts. If there's enough interest, I'll coordinate it with Chuck and Rich.

All I can say is....

It was realy cool and fun and everyone was a good sport. We all took home something (non-human, --wink--) that was fabulous!

Even in that swap there was a tremendous amount accomodation and kindness.

Chuck and I will have things for the Yankee Swap as well as a litle flea market.

Please, could EVERYONE who is planning on bringing things for sale (flea market) let me know so that we can plan on where to have it and how many tables we will need?

Thanks and see you all SOON! :-)

Rich

First time for everything......

Like a Vir**n here.....biting nails...but looking forward to my very first official 'wash-in'.....

I am sure someone will be there to hold my hand and get me over the pre-wash in 'jitters'.

Maybe there will be a bicycle around too..boy's or girl's...
Once I get past that, I am sure it will be all downhill....

get me over the pre-wash in 'jitters'

Gary,

Trust me when I tell you that there is no need to worry. It will be as if you were with old friends!! Well...maybe not OLD. I'm still younger than Ron (kenmore58) OUCH!! Better run now :-)

I regret to inform that my cousin is getting married that day (July 15, 2006) and I will NOT be able to attend on Saturday.
(He refused to change the wedding date!) I am trying to move heaven and earth to be there on Sunday.

So if anyone is scared of the Toggle persona, that is the event to attend to avoid it. *LOL*

I don't do fish. But I would have done lobster.

oh Rich and Chuck I'm furious that I have to miss one of your (always) A-list events.

You'll be missed on Saturday BUT...

This is going to be a weekend long party!! Several people are staying in the area and many will be here for Sunday as well! Come on up on Sat night or Sunday morn if you can!

Breakfast at our place!!!!

Rich

So so sad and sorry.......

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I will not be able to attend my very first wash-in. I know everyone will have a great time, and will look forward to the pics that will be posted here. Wishing you all a great wash-in and please keep in touch.

You'll be missed!

Gary,

Sorry to hear that you will not be attending. It certainly seems to be shaping up to be "the social event of the season."

I looked forward to meeting you. Maybe your circumstances will change and you'll be able to attend afterall.

Ron.......

I will make an honest effort, but, at this time, it seems to be an impossible situation to overcome and I am truly saddened by it.
Thank you for your genuine concern.

Gary

I'll be there with bells on!

Count me in. Wouldn't miss a NE wash-in for the world. I am picking up a show and tell appliance tonight down the Cape. Any guesses what it is????
