Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I do plan on uploading it to YouTube one of these days but since I am somewhat limited on storage on my iPad and become tne while COPPA thing on YouTube that happened late last year has made. Me. A little leary uploading videos to YouTube but it will happen one of these days.

Another thing is I believe 1963 was the first year to have the super wash cycles on the Whirlpool belt drive washers and here’s a advertisement from 1963 featuring a Whirlpool just like mine but in white

And, done!

So my plan is to get an outside laundromat going; as soon as we rebuild our pumphouse, my idea is to run some plumbing and electrical to there and create a spot for the two machines I have including this one, besides the one in our house. My other outside machine, the 2000 Whirlpool, which I never finished the post about last year, is doing fine so far, and I'm hoping to get this Kenmore 60 series and that Whirlpool in the pumphouse, up and running. Maybe next year, we'll just have to see how it goes, but for right now, they're going in the shed to be stored. And that'll conclude this series for now.

This is the belt driven version of that direct drive washer from 1981 featured in today’s POD/Picture Of the Day

Sean,

Quoted from the Picture of the Day page:
If you wish please feel free to download and save the POD image, the only thing we ask is that you please don't post this into the Forum threads at anytime.

Steven,
I like your new washer. Was really suprised the water level was so high, shocked actually. Thought it was in really good condition for an early eighties machine.
I hope it will stand you in good stead for many, many years to come. Looking forward to a video.
