New Fisher & Paykel Front-load Washer and Condensing Dryer

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

These are fantastic machines. I have had a set of these for a few years now and they are just great. Great water levels and the heater maintains the temp right through the cycle.
I don’t know if these are programmed different for the American market but all will remain to be seen if anyone gets one :-)

Dryers

They are probably the only manufacturer who actually lists the drying temps for the different settings (and quite some are combinable with quite some cycles IIRC).

For the condenser they are fine, however the vented version claims the same max temps as the condenser version, which top out at 190°F or thereabouts IIRC.
The heatpump units are cooler (by a lot) but they aren't avaible in the US AFAIK.

Not to Side-Swipe This Thread... but

Do the wash smart machines still have the service menu whereby rinse performance can be altered, aka more spin spray time???

What Henene said.
The new FP top and front load sets are Haier-based designs.
Since they own them.
Only a matter of time for these Haier architectures to infiltrate "GE".

F&P TLs

As far as I know, F&Ps TLs are still 100% F&P. They still have the SmartDrive wash system and the EcoActive system, which Haier does not have.

F&P only turned into Haier in areas where they did not have a competitive solution yet, which is the compact laundry market.

Sorry John, the TL machines are still pretty much the same as they’ve always been. F&P never had a FL design of their own, so those are definitely Haier, but the workings of TL are pretty much the same as they were in 1993.
