New Floorpolisher

This week there was a big sale at Vroom en Dreesmann (V&D or Vulgar and Disgusting as friends of mine call it), a big department store here. A while ago I had seen that they sold their floor polishers pretty cheap. They were €39.- ($47.-). Normally they go for about €90.- ($108.-). I really don't need one because I have laminated floors. But this week they were on sale for €10.- ($12.-)!! I just couldn't let that opportunity go. It's a Fam. Don't know if they are made by the company self or by some other manufacturer.

Louis that looks like a very interesting machine, is it a two brush model. You sure got a great deal on it and I can see why you couldn't say no!! Terry

Louis..this is a sleek machine..I have the Oreck Orbiter..it is heavy but just has the one pad, looks like a scaled down version of a professional polisher. I use it about twice a year

It's a three brush model, I added a picture. There are two sets of brushes and a set of felt discs.

These machines were probably on sale because this country is full of them. There are a lot of these machines on auction sites. This machine is made in Italy.

What a handy appliance to have! The price can't be beat either! I've been watching for an Electrolux polisher at the sales but so far, nothing has shown up. I've used the large commercial models before, I'll bet this is much easier to use...

Growing up....

My parents had a blue green one with that definite "early 60s" housing. I don't know whatever happened to it. I think it was a Regina, but not sure.

I would great if they sold them here. I have been watching for a Lux one also. My whole house is hardwood floors and I clean and polish them once a year. They look so nice when done.

Has anyone tried the "Orange Glo" hardwood floor cleaner yet? I have only used Wood Preen on my floors and that has worked fine.
