Thanks Guys.
@ Russell I like the style of range too. I'm thinking of a way to have at least one side panel made. A friend of mine who is a retired welder is moving back to the Cape from Nantucket. And he loves projects. So I have a list of ideas to see if he can fabricate them.
@ Kevin Thanks. I love the range. My Mom when I was like 6 or 7 years old bought a Westy exactly like your other Westy range. I cooked on that range until I moved out of the house in 1975. It's amazing how when you cook on different types of Electric Ranges, you remember how the heat is controlled by each type of burner coil. Like the Radiant Tubes, Calrod, Corox, etc. I felt so at home and had a little trip down memory lane making dinner on that range. MedHi was just like I remembered it.
I was going to haul the TT out until I get a new Bake Element but decided I don't need to bake anything since the holidays are over and can adjust my menu to Range Top for a bit.
John... LOL I did keep my eyes peeled for Drones and on the rear view mirror on my way to and from the SSF. I Love that little Range. It is so cool looking and unique. I sent a few pics to my Dad's wife and she seriously asked me if I would find one for her. She just fell in love with it which was a surprise to me. Anything beats that awful Bosch Glass Top Range she has. I dread cooking a meal on that range. She's had that Bosch for 8 years now and I still even hate boiling potatoes on that thing. LOL
