New freezer and back luck

Hi

My gosh I am so darn mad. I could take this back and get a refund reorder and wait weeks aging. But since this to me is not a big deal and might be able to fix it myself.

So I got a danby upright freezer and love it only thing there is a crack in the door liner. I did not see it till I reversed the door to swing right to left. Been looking online for tips to fix this and so far no luck. It is white with shelf's and wonder if weight well make it worst.

I did read about one item no luck finding it cheap I only need a piece about 2 inch by 2 inch so I could trim it. cooler repair tape anyone have any or no a place I can get a small piece. I am willing to pay shipping and so on just so mad and upset about this.

I would not take it back, but call the store and advise that it's defective.  They should treat it like a warranty issue and let you keep using your freezer until a new replacement arrives.

yes call store. crack will only get bigger, an insulation will be comprimized, causing frost issues. good luck.

Cracked Door Linner

A picture would be helpful to see if the crack is really going to cause a problem, the door can be easily be replaced and should be covered by the product warranty. Most liner cracks will never affect the freezers performance, so if they want to give you a reduction in price I would be very tempted to take the cash.
