It's time to stop thinking like the Titanic passengers - many of whom refused to abandon ship until it was too late - and start working on providing life boats for EVERYONE.
I'm so glad a rich bastard like Rush Limbaugh found that his false alarm chest pains got him superlative medical attention... but what about the 30 million who would have been bankrupted by the same treatment because they have no medical insurance? This bill will fix that. Far better than the status quo!

Maytag, funny I had the same thought!
At this point I've been without insurance for a few years, got a few health issues but none that require seeing a Dr. on any regular basis. I do need a test done, pricey one at that, but It's on hold for now. I was really hoping for the Medicare buy in, it would have really helped me out, but the wienies in both houses are more indebted to the insurance companies than the people of this country so I loose out.
