I don't think it's. If they were trying to pay homeage to previous models, they would have made a black/white or brown/almond model.

The WMAL621 seems to have hit the shops now, for the sum of £250, though it's not on the Hotpoint site yet, surely they should have done a brochure now. Here is the link, I think the new Aqualtis is on it too, but they are marketed as stock coming soon.

New design...

This new generation of Hotpoints look very smart. I really like the simple streamline design, but I don't like the door handle as it looks like an after thought! Hehe

Hi Rob.

Hope all is well with you and totally agree with your sentiments with the New non-Aqualtis range.

The facias look considerably smarter than the current models, but that door handle doesnt half look clumsy. A shame.

The condenser dryers look..........erm.........unusual too.

Well,

What a ugly looking family except the aqualtis. NB do note the door is different. real shane as I liked the old one best.

Hope the Vented dryers are going to have glass doors.
I think the plastic one looks cheap, and will break easier.

Plus Hotpoints History-almost every single vented dryer that's came out has had a glass door, so I hope these have no exceptions.

I think everyone needs to calm down

as we've only seen the condensor dryer models, which, apart from the Aqualtis, doesn't have glass fronts. We've yet to see the vented dryer models, which are the TVAM70CP and TVAL73CG, those could still possibly have glass doors.

All the new hotpoint vented dryers will have glass free plastic doors. I just hope they don't do the same with the indesit vented dryers. Knowing indesit company they probably will do. Is it me or do they look bloody awful. Not a good match if your putting them next to each other in the kitchen.

Aqualtis

They will probably keep there 62l drum, or they might put the Extendia 90l drum inside, or they might create a new drum volume, I am told that like Miele, Bosch, LG, Hoover, Samsung drums. These Aqualtis have a special drum (Called the 'Fibretech' drum).
Wonder what that's like, or will it just be the holes are smaller?
Link to that site is below!

In terms of the dryers-(optima), No one knows whether they have glass in or not, as they haven't got any information about them yet. It would be a shame if they don't, though from pictures I seen at a festival in London in May, they do look like some dryers have glass doors. (Just hope there Vented ones, not just Indesit Prime dryers).

Looks like the Ultima's get the glass door, whilst the standard condensers get the weird non-glass door.

The latter dont look too pretty, in my opinion, but I like this top end dryer.

I keep checking the website daily, in the hope that they update the bloomin brochures. grrrrrrrrr.

Thanks for the link, ultimafan.
Always intersting when a new range is released.

Paul
