Picked this up in John Lewis today. No mention of this on Method's UK OR US website, although the US website has F/S and Method Laundry Bleach! My phone isn't the best but this detergent claims to give whiter whites and bright colours in cold water ( that won't be happening!) Will give it a work out over the weekend and report back! Hopefully it performs better than the current Method detergent. I love the ethos behind the company and love the cleaning products, however was disappointed in the lack lustre cleaning ability of the 1st gen detergent. Sorry for the sideways pic, I can't seem to correct it.

Did a load of light coloureds, warm cottons wash, 6 "pumps" ( recommended dose is 4 pumps for UK machines) Did not suds up even in our super soft water. Rinses away very quickly. Clothes smelled clean and fresh, not an over powering scent. I suspect after tumble drying there will be no scent at all. Appears to clean well. Am now doing a load of kitchen whites with one heavily stained tea towel ( tomato based stain, left for a few days ) on a boil wash with generic oxy bleach added. I must say the smell emanating from the washer is lovely to my nose.

While I haven't tried...

There newer Detergent, I didn't think the older one was all too bad. It did a decent job enough on lightly soiled stuff. However, it doesn't compete so well on anything heavily soiled.

There Hand Soap on the other hand. I really do like. It costs about as much as the other available options at Target, and I don't know, it seems as effective and good as the normal stuff. (My hands don't really get all that greasy or dirty). I really like the scent options too, much nicer than the Dial stuff that makes me gag.

Well,

This detergent seems to perform better than the original. The white load came out spotless ( with the addition of oxy bleach). As I said, intend to put it through it's paces over the next week as I'm having a mega clean.....sofa covers, curtains etc.
