@matchboxpaul ¡V thank you very much! It is genuinely very quiet, even the pump is quiet too! When it is washing I would not hasten to say you cannot hear it. Not even the water sloshing about. When it comes on to spin, it hums very quietly, which does get slightly louder as it increases right up to 1400 rpm (the final spin section is 15 minutes long). The silence was important as it is all open plan.
@imperial70 ¡V thanks very much. I am very pleased with it. It is very difficulty to keep shiny though!!
@washdaddy ¡V the drum light comes on when you power the machine up, and it stays on as you are loading it. Once you start the cycle, it stays on for about 30 seconds, which is pretty cool to watch as the water starts to enter the machine. If you pause the cycle while it is running, then press start again, the light comes back on, which can be fun too! Then, once the cycle is over, the light comes up to aid you unloading it. It is very bright, I suspect it is a halogen bulb of some sort.
@alude ¡V nope, not from Ikea. I had a local kitchen company measure the space and make me a kitchen from their range. I like to support small business where I can, although slightly more expensive, their service was second to none.
@zipdang ¡V glad you like! ƒº
@warmsecondrinse ¡V thanks very much for your comments! Behind the hob is a glass splash back that I had made for the kitchen. I didn¡¦t want tiles as they didn¡¦t quite fit with the vision I had for clean lines, and I don¡¦t think they always look modern.
@countryguy ¡V thank you. I agree that the hob is difficult to use if you don¡¦t have the manual! I had to refer to it on the first few occasions I was using it. It¡¦s touch sensitive, and very easy to u se once you ¡§know how¡¨. The oven, I think, is very straightforward without any instructions and I think lots of text and symbols over it would spoil the design. I guess it¡¦s personal preference!
Ha! The slippers! They were an XMAS present!
