Picked one up
I bought an Ariel liquid and am using it on a few loads right now.
I can confirm it is definitely more concentrated and is now in line with Persil S+M.
The dosing ball is definitely thinner and physically smaller than the previous one. It's a little less `solid' so is quieter in use but not (as predicted by all of us) as quiet as the Persil ball.
It's quite sudsy but perhaps I am being a little heavy handed / careless with dosing. The ball seems a little harder to dose with than the Persil one. Surely not a ploy by P+G to make us use more??
My local Tesco also had the new Purclean one. It smelled quite pleasant - just a little lighter than the regular one. I managed to resist purchasing it on this occasion.
Rolls, my machine leaves liquid residue in the drawer too so I worry it will also be clogging the filler pipe (drawer to drum) over time. Mind, mine also leaves powder in the drawer :-/ I'm not too sure at all about my new machine but am persevering diligently.
Liamy, squeezing dosing balls takes detergent aisle perusal to a whole new level LOL
