Hi everyone ...
My 101P that I got through e-bay made it to little Foley, MN yesterday afternoon. Hooray! I'm bringing a digital camera home from work this weekend to get pictures to show you all but until then, I have a couple of questions.
There was still really "gunky", very smelly water in the tub (not much ... just resting on the bottom)and the tub is a disaster zone ... reminds one of the Kenmore we recently saw.
I pulled the drain hose off easily (the hose, however, was hard as a rock) and the pump was plugged with dirt, rust, and very awful water. I cleaned out the end of it, but know there is more in there. Robert suggested that I try to prime the pump with hot water ... should I still try to do that?
Should I put a half a bucket or so of hot water in the tub and try to get it to spin?
Also, I haven't plugged it in yet; it's a two-prong plug. Is that an issue?
Thanks for the help everyone!!
Make it a great day!
