Hi all - new member here hoping to get some help finding a conderser coil for my GE LW-11 MP2 over counter cabinet fridge. The part # is WR88X28.

We bought a huge 1956 MCM home in 2009 with all original appliances. The Fridge worked for about a year before developing a leak in the condenser coil. a few guys came out to fix but no luck. I have found "Appliance Guys" in portland or. who are excited about getting it going but we are having a hard time finding the part (as you can imagine). really appreciate any leads.

Thanks - Joe

Keep checking craigslist.  If you can find a whole fridge for little or nothing if you extract it, get it for the condenser and any other parts it might have to offer for possible future needs.

You fridge pic has me wanting to see more of your kitchen . . .

That's a handsome period kitchen!

I didn't realize condensers were manufactured out of aluminum.  Evaporators, yes, but maybe it's just that all the condensers I've ever seen or dealt with were painted black.

You are correct rp2813. What I am looking for is the EVAPORATOR coil located in the cooled portion of the cabinet, not the condenser coil. Thanks for bringing up the materials and straightening me out. Same GE part #.
