hey guys anybody from new jersey out there love this site I had old vintage appliances for years but thought I was the only one in the world that like ,rather love them theres nothing like the smell of old vintage appliance an the beauty of chrome trim and console lights , to make long story short I got rid of all my machines five years ago i had a collection to die for but every body said what you going to do with them so not knowing about you guys had no computer an had no interest in one either I just the threw every thing out when I moved, one year later a friend of mine found your site well I almost shit when i saw this site i could not believe there were others like me well I got interested in the computer fast an still learning needless to say I am collecting again but had real good stuff before its getting harder to find stuff I had before well just wanted say hi an if any body is from new jersey please let me know in lyndhurst nj I think IM the only appliance nut in this state

No sense in brow-beating yourself over what was. Most of us have done the same things. Just move forward----quickly.
Start canvassing for vintage machines, they are headed to the krushers at alarming rates! Call all the appliance repair places and find out where the "old-timers" are that might be sitting on a warehouse or garage full of old stuff. Go to estate sales, etc. Drive out into the small country towns and ask around the appliance repair people----they will know where the "grave-yards" are.
You will begin to build up a great collection again.
