As per some people spot what they think is a market and are in for the kill.

Obviously person or persons found boxes of Oxydol cheaply (or they may even have fallen off a truck...), and think they've struck gold.

Am always amazed at those flogging detergent on fleaPay, Amazon or elsewhere for 2x, 3x or more price of what one would pay at shops.

Can find Tide liquid detergent at Target or Rite Aid often enough on sale for around $6/bottle. Even when not on special offer prices are rarely above $11 or so.

Some clever chops want to sell same jugs of Tide for $19 *plus* shipping.

At least with Amazon if your powder or detergent arrives damaged and or having leaked out, they will reimburse. Not so sure about fleaPay, CL or whatever.

I found boxes of powdered Oxydol earlier this year in the dollar aisle at Dollar General. It was excellent in cleaning and bleaching. My whites were the best I’d seen in a long time, and the scent was what I always remembered, clean and fresh. Always check that aisle when I stop in. It was the find of the year.

Many assume just because a detergent or other product is difficult to find locally it has been withdrawn from market. This is not always true...

Shelf space in supermarkets and other shops is very valuable. If a product doesn't move in numbers at a given price point, it likely won't be around very long. But that doesn't mean all is lost.

Often things end up in dollar stores, liquidation places, and or markets where product in question does sell well enough.

More than a handful of people out there have found a good supply of Oxydol, because again they're offering it at insane prices, but seem to have a decent supply.

some of the prices on these detergents is unreal.....

Tide Cold Water which they are pushing big time to save on your energy bill.....

and noticing that the price is doubled versus buying the regular formula...this 89 load bottle is 44.87...WTH????.....where exactly am I saving at?

and seems were back to buying a separate detergent for HOT, WARM, and COLD washes.....time for them to bring back All-Temperature Cheer!.....

as if Regular Tide cant be used in Cold water....yet their commercials claim the pods can be used with a load of ice cubes.....

make up my mind!

Tide Coldwater Discontinued?

Reviewers on Tide's website are asking why it's discontinued. I'm not surprised if it was since they say you can use any of their detergents in cold water, so what's the point of having a dedicated formula?
