Not the greatest picture but I have not entered the digital camera age yet and do not have a scanner. I am on the left my partner Dana on the right holding my nephew Connor. I am looking to get a digital camera in the near future and will get pictures of my new Speed Queen uploaded as soon as I do.

MY two best friends

In 1990 I lost my best friend, quickly becoming my better half, in a bad car accident. A couple of months later his mom called me up and asked If I would like one of Baby's (his chow dog) pups. Of course I was overjoyed that she had called and asked. At the same time I was kind of scared of a chow dog. I asked the vet and he told me the most important thing was to keep her socialized and to always play with her feet and nose. They are most sensitive about their paws and noses. Poor thing....I was always playing with her nose and feet. POOR friends and family, everywhere I went Basia (that was one of our favorite singers at the time) went. She was the sweetest Chow ever. Her vets and groomers over the years always commented they had never saw such a sweet chow. I lost her last year to cancer. I miss my baby. She was special. :)

Jason

He does sing. Normally he plays a Strat or a Les Paul.He plays a big mix of everything from Johnny Cash to Van Halen, Beatles,Cheap trick all kinds Funk, hot blues, rock, some country you name it and he plays it. If he's playing covers it just depend on what kind of gig it is. Collage, corporate ect... His writing style in kind of a mix, it's hard to explain. The cowboy hat in the picture was a promo shot for something, I really don't remember!

Austin: He does kinda look like him in that picture, but not as crazy!

I wear my sunglasses... on the beach

Well, since I see Cory posted a pict from his trip to the Land Down Under, I'll post a picture with some water in it as well. This was from our Spring Break trip last year to Panama City Beach.

Tom, your doggie is precious, I am sorry for your loss. Glad to see your picture too! I can't remember if I saw it on the last thread, but I really enjoy these photo threads.

no digital camera yet

"I have not entered the digital camera age yet and do not have a scanner"

Get the scanner first, they're REALLY cheap, and you can then post pictures already taken with a film camera but not on a CD. And as I've said before on here, don't wait for getting a digital camera to post, just have your film camera pictures put on CD when you have them developed. Virtually everyplace offers this option now.

So guys and girls, don't let that excuse "I don't have a digital camera yet" prevent you from posting.

Scanners cameras and all that paraphanelia :-)

So do you have a pic Jaune? ;-).

I agree with you - scanners are nothing nowdays, but even then, you can get digital cameras for virtually the same price now, at least over here in the UK. My Canon IXUS II 2 megapixel camera cost £300 in Christmas 2002, and you can virtually get the same spec camera now for about £50 (although without the same quality as my Canon Ixus - it's really high end, stainless steel casing etc). Also a cheap alternative to a digital camera is a webcam, I use this quite a lot on Yahoo and MSN Messengers (often do online wash-ins, especially with Louis :-D), but they also have a snapshot facility with the software included, and even better if you have Windows Movie Maker you can make movies. (BTW - apologies to those still waiting for my AEG videos, I've done them but yet to find the time to convert/edit them etc. as I've been busy trying to tie all my work together to be handed in for Easter).

Anyway, enough of me blabbing on, and here's a recent pic of me :-)

Take care all, happy washing!!

Jon

And one with the Persil (apologies for the pic - I often have a tendency to slump at the computer - when I complain of back pain in a few years I'll know why :-D)

Take care all,

Jon

My pic

Jon, my pic is on the original photo thread started by partscounterman and which has since sorta disappeared. So here's a couple of different pics.

First, 1968, when I was about your age.
