Spotted a few new things at work today:

Ajax Automatic Dishwashing Packets

Dawn & Cascade Thai/Hawaiian/New Zealand fragranced products

Palmolive Baby (for soaking and cleaning dishware, toys, etc.)

Interesting thing is C-P is expanding Ajax into automatic diswashing products.

EWWWW...That Smell!

Why do some dishwashing/dishwasher detergents have to come in "zingy, nifty, smelly" scents? One Palmolive brand I bought a few months ago that I use on occasion is the "pure+clear". It's an ultra type. If I'd known the scent was going to linger on the dishes, I never would have bought it. It's harder than hell to rinse off. The same goes for some Dawn scents too.

I've noticed that most of the non-ultras don't leave a lingering scent on your dishes as much as ultras do, so I generally use Ajax (any scent), Joy, Palmolive or Dawn Mountain Falls (I think that's what it's called, it's the clear non-ultra one).

Dishwashing Liquid Scents

I tried Gain original scent liquid because I had a coupon, but while it works well, the smell is too sweet and overpowering for me. I went back to Ajax lemon and lime (love both scents; not cloying or too strong), and saved money as well. I won't go back again.
