tried this and everyone love it
1 box german chocolate cake mix , bake according to package in 9 by 13 by 2 cake pan
when its done cool then take the handle of a wooden spoon and poke holes all over the top, the drizzle a can of condensed milk over the top let soak in
then next pour 1 cup chocolate syrup on that
top with cool whip and shaved heath bars
longer it stays in frigidaire the better it is

That sounds wicked!!

Reminds me of the Mexican dessert "Tres Leches" cake (Spanish for 3 milks). The recipes vary, but it's usually a combination of condensed milk, whole milk, and whipped cream on top. Totally delicious, but a nightmare for the lactose intolerant like myself! I'm going to try your recipe. Chocolate should add an extra dimension to the finished product.

yumm!!!

I'm going to make this for a party this weekend!!! it sounds totaly sinful. There's also a coconut sheet cake that I think is similiar to the chcolate above...does anyone have a receipe for coconut?/thanks

strawberry colada

This is a very similar recipe that I use for a Strawberry Colada cake. Make a strawberry cake, poke holes, mix 1 can of Eagle Brand and 1 can of Coco Lopez cream of coconut and pour on top, refrigerate and top with cool whip and strawberries.
Also have used a chocolate cake mix and put the premelted Nestle unsweetened chocolate in with the Eagle Brand and cream of coconut and poured on top. Makes it taste like a Mounds Bar. YUMMY!!!

Miss--ippi--mud--cake

I have a great recipe for MS Mud Cake--will try to dig it out. It's sort of like this--but will kill you if you eat more than one piece a month!!!

BTW-- Does anyone remember the "White Trash Cookbook?" Unfortunately, I lost mine several years ago--it was quite famous when it came out, and was not meant to be derogatory, but humurous, and it certainly was, and had some Gdamn good recipes in it.

Here's one I tried out myself this past weekend and it was a huge hit. Take a box of Duncan Hines Dark Fudge Brownie mix and bake to the directions of cakelike brownies. 3 eggs and 1/2 cup oil. Take a bag of M&M's, which right now we have a special edition of Cherry M&M's, medium size bag and spread across the top of the brownies. Bake at 350 degrees for 37 minutes. This is incredible. I have made these with regular mm's. Big hit at parties and home. The M&M's make a crust on the top. Pretty colors also.
