Has anyone seen or purchase one of these retro looking Whirlpool dishwashers? I believe they came out in the market around June of this year.

The new Whirlpool freestanding dishwasher boasts 30% more space with a 3rd wash level and phenomenal results excellence with new PowerClean MAX and 6th Sense Aquasteam. New PowerClean MAX eliminates the need to scrub or soak crockery and pans prior to dishwashing. The 24 rotating water jets at the rear of this freestanding dishwasher work simultaneously to remove stubborn or baked-on food without the use of additional energy or water. At the same time, Whirlpool famous 6th Sense technology ensures glassware and delicate items are cleaned gently, safely and thoroughly, delivering best-ever wash performance with 13% better cleaning results.

Bob, I really think this is intended for the European market. I don't think we've had free-standing dishwasher sold in the U.S. since the 1950s, early 60s at the latest. Plus, the copy reads more European. One word gives it away, crockery. PowerClean MAXX is the European term for TorbuZone, PowerScour rotating jets.

Thank you for the clarification...in fact I found this model on this cool web site. I never seen one in Canada or on US website. I haven't seen any discussion here either....

After going through the website...I see there are a lot of European products...great website to see what may be introduced in North America ;)

KA KDFX 6010

This KitchenAid may be even more misleading .... Whirlpool lately started using the KA badge here in EU too. While the in-sink DW is the same as your Briva models , regular euro KA DW are plain WP EU machines

not only BSH and WP EU, even SMEG

the funny fact about BSH is that Bosch, Siemens and Neff offer machines already having the cutlery rack, while Gaggenau customers are squeezed like lemons as they have to buy that rack separately.

But you know, Gaggenau customers are a sort of Hen that lay Golden Eggs and they have to be "optimized" to increase BSH profit *LOL* ;-)

Now also Smeg has some models with 3rd rack , QuickTime option (same as BSH VarioSpeed or Miele Turbo) and a very interesting feature : when you delay the cycle with the onboard countdown timer, the machine automatically runs the "rinse & hold" cycle as soon as you push start.
