Nice score

I haven't seen Double Cola for many years, and have never seen that logo for it.  There used to be a Double Cola bottling facility within walking distance when I was a kid.  A very small operation in a corrugated metal quonset hut.

Interesting

When I used Allen's link to the DC site, I checked for local retailers.  They all appear to be health food or nutrition-related stores.  I wonder what that's about.

I remember as a kid I liked DC better than the other well-known brands.

Around here, it rare to even see RC Cola, particularly at a fountain, but DC isn't even on the radar.

DC may be made with cane sugar instead of HFCS and have natural flavorings. That would qualify for health food stores. Personally, I've never heard of it before. But they do seem to have a wide distribution network. They may not sell a lot, but it's available in a lot of places on the map.

In Houston the closest location to me where it is sold is about 20 miles away.

The Mid-1970s: The local laundromat had one of these when I was in high school. We'd stop by the drive-in for to-go glasses of ice, then proceed to the laundromat where we'd use a jimmied bottle opener to.... let's say 'liberate' pop from the bottles visible in the display door.

Well I finally got a round to look at it.
Massive leak at compresser discharge line.gonna take it apart next week and replace the whole line. Picked up 30 pounds of r 12 from a friend. I should have it running in no time
