does anybody know how to bypass the lid switch on the new speed queen top loader? i think it is in the lid hinge.

as you can see i have mine bypassed with a piece of cardboard,or you can remove the 3 screws for the control panel and put the two wires together for the lid switch.

I jammed a screw in mine.I removed the back of the control panel to access the hinge wher the switch is.

Hey Everyone,
I just went to the SQ website and the new models are out. They've got a cool looking stainless steel front loader and the new top loaders have a different panel. Looks like larger knobs and the "Q" is located on the panel next to the name instead of on the front of the cabinet. Check them out. Here's the URL:
