I'm pretty impressed with these LGs.
I had one that I scrounged, fitted new spider and bearings, and used for maybe 10 years as our daily washer. Still in good condition, it has now gone to a new home.
I am currently fixing one up for a neighbour, this one also needs spider and bearings, but I have a spare parts machine with a good complete drum assembly so just swapping over the good parts. The spares machine also used to belong to a friend and I replaced spider and bearings many years ago and they are still fine.
The ones I am fixing up are basic model 800 rpm spin, washer-only and made in Korea. Yours looks like another one I had for a while, those piano key buttons are the same as a 1000 rpm spin washer-only I had recently, made in China but a good washer none the less.
They seem to be made for easy repair which impresses me. Also LG supply spiders as a separate part which makes major repairs viable, many manufacturers require you to buy a whole drum which is generally not worth the cost.
The one I'm working on now is actually a Westinghouse Mastermind but it is an LG made machine and I had the drum out in less than half an hour with no swearing and no loss of blood. The only other machine I can think of that is so easy to work on is a Miele.
