just wanted to say its soo cool seeing all the older washers in here. brings back memories even though im 28 (LOL). ive been on the hunt around st.louis but there usually nothing. still dream of a 50's lady kenomre. Best i found is my newer Speed queen dryer for $75.

everyone thanks. i think its cool bring the old appliances back to life. i think they last alot longer trust me ive been through 3 washers in 8 years.

mark- im keeping my eye pealed on craiglist but lately its all newer stuff

That's the way to find them......I also look in the Post Dispatch classified section. I also look out for scrap yards when i'm out riding my motorcycle and you would be amazed at the appliances people will sit out by the side of the road or curb if you live in the city...Also start checking at the back of appliance stores, especially Lowes and Home Depot, you never know what you might spot. Good luck on your search! If i see anything I'll let you know.....

hey mark on manchester there a place called bill's appliances there usally good for one or two. Lately the only have old 80's dishwashers rrrr.

Ok cool.......will have to check it out the next time i'm in the city......i have been checking out the appliance store further south and in the bootheel.....so far haven't found anything worth taking home....but hopefully one of these days i will hit the jackpot....
