main wash,

hey jon, yeah it does have the sensor which i did wonder why it does different things.

Jay - so reminiscent of my 86741 :-). Hopefully it'll be up and running once my laundry studio is set up in the garage...

Did you get my text? :-)

My AEG Lavamat 78800 does a cool down at Easy Cares, Boil Wash, and at short wash cycles.
The Jet-System is always turned on at the short wash-cycles.
At Easy Cares and Boilwash not.
If I pushed Sensitiv ist always turns on off..on..off..
Donßt knwo why..

just another vid of the delicates 40, do the darks on this, love the high water levels.

your aeg looks just like me nans L74810 but that one doesnt have the jet. what was the model of the other pic? i know in germany u can get the lava logic with the 1800 spin, wonder if that'll come here.

The modell of the other Pic was a Privileg, an other german brand, but AEG, Privileg , Zanker get their machine by Electrolux.
Privileg is a bit cheaper.
The machine on the pic also has 1800 rpm.

Jwilson00: the Zanussi is the IZ 16 S. The one with the tilted drum.

Lavamat78800: the movement I referred to, is the inner drum moving within the outer wash-tub. When empty, if you try to push up the inner drum, using your fingertips upon the drum rim. You might be able to identify a slight free movement as you lift up and release. On some makes there is absolutely no movement at all; on others there can be a fraction of a millimetre. On a faulty machine with bearing failure, there can be several millimetres movement.

When you turn the drum by hand, does it rotate smoothly, or does it feel as though it 'CLUNKS'? This could indicate that the bearings or support spider are faulty.
