Hello,
The Frenchy is back!
You Like the washing machine in the photo?
Look at working on my website and listen to the video about the last spin: A buzzer sounds several times to indicate the end of the program. This is a drum machine on horizontal axis and it dates of 1966. It is a FRIGIDAIRE.
In the site, go to "ME MACHINE IN VIDEO".

Wow! How different from the US Frigidare washers from that era. It is interesting that you can open the lid while the machine is spinning. Pre Stabler type of unit they are trying to sell over here today. That is a different design, incorporating top and front load design along with Norge timeline type of timer. Neat!

Wonderful machine! Thanks for sharing the videos. This machine has some strange noises, it's rather loud during the spin.

Do you know what the spin speed is of this machine?

I love it that you can tamper with the lid switch so you can see the drum rotating.

And what a wonderful gadget for choosing the cycle. Very special! Is the black button the start button?

Louis

to know it better

This machine was built by general motors, French division.
The speed spin is very low, 300 rpm.
The start button is the small black button on the top and you choose with it the temperature: cold, warm, hot or very hot.
See you.

Meraveillsues!

I'm really speechless Bert....indeed!

First of all how couldn't I love a machine like that... a TLHA 60cm wide, what about you Louis as another TLHA washers lover like me?

Interesting the detergent put on the outer side of the paddle...
the the circulare opening is bigger than I thought...

How much agitator does the drum have? It seems very like my Ignis one...

Very very very much compliments!!!
BYE!
Diomede

PS: I dont's see the time to look ath the other 60cm wide TLHA you're looking for that's the Arthut-Martin...which you said could probably have got the sliding outer tub just like my Ignis :-)

Thanks

Hello Diomède,
I'm happy you love this machine.
It has 3 paddle and no agitator.
If you find TLHA Arthur Martin that I'm looking for in "WANTED", tell me please, I'll die for it!!
See you.
Bert

If you find TLHA Arthur Martin that I'm looking for in &

Of course my dear friends... I won't hesitate a moment as just as I might find a machine like that...

Here was Ignis in seventies with them....it could be like this one

Agitator..paddles... sorry! But honestly I imagined it had 4 paddles instead of 3...anyway I'm sure the performance is good the same!
