Best FL Washer By A Country Mile

Speed Queen or the Canadian equivalent, She will not have to learn to use another washer if she lives to 100,[ She should up date her will however ]

 

SQs are easy to use and don't sing silly jingles to you when trying to set the controls, 5 years warranty gets you off to a great start.

 

Next best would be a FLer from WP-MT.

Speed Queen is not available in Canada and the equivalent Huebsch is not available where we live so not an option. The Maytag front loader was my first choice but the detergent dispenser was made of cheap plastic...the tab to remove it from the machine broke when I pressed on it on the display model.

I like that it has an 18 minute quick wash cycle. Checked CR and it gets an average score including reliability.
