It's a neat machine! The platform is called Jaguar. I'd love to have one myself! We've moved production of our commercial FL washers from Monterrey to Clyde and these new Jaguar machines are being made in Monterrey where the commercial FL washers used to be made.
Did anyone notice the other videos that they had on Youtube about the level marker in the washbasket and the one for the weights on the lid? This washer is very cool. I love the hole pattern in the washbasket and they also have a vid showing the different agitators for the line. I almost thought that the washer was made here in the USA and exported to Mexico. The dryer looks to be American made. One thing that I think Whirlpool should do is put a brake in to stop the washbasket from moving during wash. It kinda reminds me of the WCI machines with the Double Scrub, Extra Surging, indexing washbasket that kinda kills wash action in my opinion. The other thing I did notice is the fact that the washer uses water and plenty of it.
I will say one thing though...after looking at the knobs in the store on the US machines, I dont care for them. If one has wet hands, good luck in selecting a cycle because they will slip since there really isnt a grip on them. Dry hands no issue though. The other thing I thought about is what if someone has hand issues lke arthritis or something. To me those knobs dont seem right, but thats me. But other than that I would like to see those here in North America. USA built though.

I agree about the knobs.
I hate them. They don't feel sturdy at all. I think something as simple as the control knobs should at least convey a feeling of quality.
Furthermore, the last time I looked into a Whirlpool dryer, the door felt so thin, hollow, and tinnie. Felt like I could of crinkled it up like a beer can.

I didn't understand one word...but oh well.
I really don't think all those dirty socks got clean (as brand new) in such little water, they wasn't any turnover.
Sorry but top loaders need turnover to be effective and beat the dirt out of clothes EVENLY.

From what I understand the cycles are longer on these new whirlpool's though, around about an hour for the agitator model, so I suppose less vigorous agitation would suffice.

Looks like an interesting machine. I liked the agitator but it looked kind of wimpy swishing lazily back and forth like it was bored and couldn't care less about what it was doing, although I guess the outside tub provides movement as well.
One thing that always makes me laugh are commercials showing completely dried clothes being pulled out of washers and being shown as clean. In this case we had a stack of dried colored shirts folded, sitting next to the washer as if they came directly from it all dried and perfectly folded. Oh our susceptible human minds.

the agitator is the new agipeller so i guess latin american washers are getting it so might see it crop up in trinidad but most of our washers are usa based.
is it just me or do the tubs in those videos look larger than ours certainly wider ???
i want one of those agitators to see how it would work in my wtw4850xq lol
