I always wanted a Pots and Pants cycle on the dishwasher....
'no need to rinse, blasts cooked on food off your pots and skid marks off your pants'

Oh Lord...
That's a more updated version of the same POS machine my parents have! Considering it won't even clean dishes, I doubt seriously it'll clean the skid marks out of your pants....

But remember, you can only wash pots and PANTS on that cycle, no shirts, underwear or sweaters... He he he...
Thats the one my Aunt just got.I loaded it just like I do our Temp Kenmore standard(Powerclean) dishwasher at home.I didnt rinse or anything,I just bang the plate on the disposer side and plop it in.That dishwasher washed for HOURS AND HOURS it is VERY quite but that filter the next day was full of food and the dishes were dirty still.I can put burnt on baked beans in our Kenmore on the top rack and it comes out clean.I know the Whirlpool with the Powerclean system is 1/3 H.P. and the tall tub is a 1/8th(I think) the Durawash has a 1/16th I know that.This is the WORST dishwasher I have ever used, well the Frigidare dishwashers are really bad my best friend has a new one in her house and it was terrible also.These dishwashers that switch racks just dont have the power to clean.

Here's what I don't understand
Don't the manufacturer's TEST these things with "really" nasty dishes (baked on) etc...to make sure they work well before starting production knowing that people are going to pay a LOT of money for these, knowing their reputation is on the line etc? I have a Whirlpool DU1055xptq that is 4.5 years old.
I had never had any experience with "quiet" dishwashers. Anywhere I have ever lived the dishwasher was pretty basic, not necessarily ancient, but still basic and pretty loud. When I first used the WP I couldn't believe how quiet it was based on what I was used to. I didn't hear the intense water sloshing that I was used to. The first load I was disappointed with the results. I discovered if I use Cascade Complete powder that the NASTIEST dishes come out clean in it. If I use ANY other detergent, I can see the difference.
With the older dishwashers, it didn't matter which brand I used. EVERYTHING usually came out clean. With this one, I HAVE to use CASCADE COMPLETE! Oh, and my rinse aid dispenser developed a leak so I can't use rinse aid.

Jet Dry still makes those hanging baskets you just attach to the corner of your top rack. I saw them in the store the other day. They usually last a month or so.
