Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Like I said because they are quite a bit more money than other brands.

You should tell her to get the set she can get the best deal on. I can't really see where front loaders are that much different from each other. Just depends on what features you want.

Fls are not all dumbed down. They often use a fair bit of hot water if you look at the hot/cold ratio as they need less water in total.

Most do have a heatet. Just check it has Sanitary (NOT Sanitary with Oxy) cycle, then it is with heater for sure.
LGs with TurboWash seem to be the closest to true temp washing. ELux seems rather good as well.

I would get a FL washer with a heater

hands down. the heater on my duet kicks on on heavy duty, whitest whites, and sanitary cycles. It gets so hot the outside of the machine feels like a dishwasher that has been running for a long time....gets clothes super clean. I still can't believe I've made it 12 years with this thing and it still works. Based off that alone I would get a whirlpool - maytag or something made by WP, but if a TL washer, I'd get a Speed Queen...

Some people recommend LG's as the best FL washer - though I think they are all pretty good as long as they use a heater and have some cycles that use more water than others.
