Gotta love those little 2-strokers. Not exactly environmentally considerate, what with having to mix oil in the gas, but my oh my they will claw through the thickest grass. Simple and easy pull starter too, unlike modern mowers with those absurd handle mounted pulls that force the operator into an ergonomically incorrect position to pull hard.

Really nice mower!!Built before the newer safety regs came into play.This one would be EASIER to use than newer models.No cumbersome safety devices.I used to have a LB 2 stroke motored mower-had Blade brake clutch-was nice-you could start the motor and engage-disengage the clutch to spin or stop the blade without starting the engine.Sadly I traded it in when I bought my KEE mower.Should have kept the LB.It was somewhat hard to start but once going it did go thru the grass.The Kee mower was more effortless though with its 8Hp B&S motor-run it at idle and it cut waste high grass all day.however when I think back on it-loved that LB-should look for another vintage one.They were kinda fun.
