We will never see one of these that's cleaner. Maybe it was kept in the upstairs kitchen and all of the cooking, eating and living was done in the downstairs kitchen.

Notice how the three regular surface unit switches have to be turned to the left to start on HIGH heat. The Heat Minder unit lights up the colors in the dial when in operation.

It sure is a beauty! That was the first model year for the Heat-Minder, too.

Beautiful range there. If I ever buy another house, I hope to find a '55 Frigidaire range to fit in the kitchen.
