They appear to be mid '70s.  I don't know their capacity, but they are near BOL so the washer may have a standard tub.

The washer is a direct drive and this set would be from the early eighties.

Oh yeah, I don't know why I didn't remember that they were still using that style of knobs in the mid '80s.  Mid '70s is more like when that style was introduced. 

 

And I thought that lid looked out of proportion for a '70s machine.  Thanks for the correction.

1981 was the year that new font was introduced, along with the COTTON/STURDY cycle name replacing NORMAL.
