Nice Nutone

Built in Food Center. Not as much class as a Foodmatic but still nice. With accessories. Do "In Built" and "Built In" mean the same thing? $125 in pretty Seattle.

I have the whole set plus publications. I may sell it to someone who will use it or at least show it. I do have the gold mixer bowl new in box also came with the house. I'm going to try and use it

The mixmaster gets jealous if I use the nutone mixer. And it's got beefy biceps and a hairy chest compared to that twink nutone so best not get him riled up!

Those people in Seattle seem to have posted their Nutone on CL all the way down the Pacific Coast.  Its been listed on SF Bay Area CL for a while.  I'll bet you'll find it on San Diego CL too.

Hey, well the mixer needs work, it seems to be locked up. I have the knife sharpener too. I'm keeping the blender though. The mixer has 2 bowls I think. I'm going to have to find it now, we had a garage sale yesterday that I was not head of and I don't think I've seen it since.. I'll look again and inventory everything and let you know.

A common problem with Nutone food centers is that the gear wear out in the power unit leaving the blender attachment to work fine (as it's direct to the motor) but other accessories that are driven by the slower rotating part around the motor shaft (like the mixer) don't work as the gears slips under light strain.

Any way to fix that bad gear? That's what happened to mine, darn it.

On mine, I just changed the motor for a new one. I don't think we could get replacement gears anymore.

I am willing to take the chance on this thing-if it is found-please let me know.This would be a good addition to my small machines collection.Next would like to find a Ronson version.

I haven't had a chance to look yet. The ac compressor decided to fall and break a hip, to use some nursing parlance gotta love old houses!

Doesn't that Nutone look great in midcentnurse's kitchen? That countertop (laminate?) has a nice clean "food prep" look.

These are the pieces I have. There's a meat grinder seemingly unused but it does have some oil leakage. And the mixer with bowl. I can't seem to get it to work but haven't tried too hard. Someone was interested in it but I can't see the rest of the thread. Let me know and we'll strike an awesome deal

Remind me, bug me: I have a Nutone with almost all attachments, but I only have the blender gear working. Frnakly, for how little I ever used anything else but the blender, I'd likely rather the other attachments go to someone who will use them well.
